You are buying an app that is being built in the open, at the price it will never be again. Below is exactly what works today and exactly what does not — read both before you pay.

What works today
- The gym. Unlimited practice conversations against three simulated women, each with her own personality and her own way of losing interest. No cap, ever.
- Cold Open. Start from nothing but her profile and write the first message yourself — scored on whether you actually read her.
- The replay. After every session you see her hidden interest, message by message, and the exact moment it turned.
- The coach. A blunt post-session breakdown that quotes your own messages back and, on the worst ones, names the move you should have made instead — never the words. Measured over 400 sessions the coach produced 765 instructions and not one rewrite, because handing you a line to send is the one thing this app will not do.
- Drills. Daily Rep, Window Reps, Revive and Dry-Fade — 60-second judgement reps, with a new one each day.
- Your log. Every session, every grade, your training week.
- Working weight and the skill radar. Every partner is labelled with what she weighs against what you are currently carrying, the way plates are. After three graded sessions the radar breaks your training down across six axes, so you can see which one is actually holding you back.
- Live replies — founding only. Her answers are written live by a language model instead of drawn from the written bank, so she responds to what you actually typed rather than to how interested she is. Free practice uses the written bank, which is the same partner everyone else trains against. Fair-use cap below.
What does not work yet — and what founding buys you
These are built or half-built, not shipped. Founding is a bet that they land, and the price is what it is because you are taking that bet with me:
- Real-chat Review — upload a conversation that died and have the coach find the moment. US-only, and gated behind a privacy review that is not finished.
- More drills and personas — five drills and three partners exist today.
When those ship, you have them, at no extra cost, for as long as the service runs. If they never ship, you keep everything in the list above and you keep the refund right below.
What free gets, so you know what you are paying for
Free is a complete loop, not a demo: three practice sessions a week against two of the three partners, and every replay, every grade, every coach note and every drill, always. Feedback is never the thing behind the paywall — practice without feedback makes people worse, and selling that back would make this the sort of app it exists in opposition to.
Founding removes the weekly limit, opens every partner, and turns on live replies.
What "lifetime" means
Lifetime of the service. As long as Fumbleproof runs, your access runs — no renewals, no upsells to keep what you bought. If the service shuts down within 12 months of your purchase, you get a pro-rata goodwill refund. This page is the agreement; there is no longer document hiding somewhere with different terms in it.
The fair-use cap, stated up front
Live-AI mode is on. Founding includes 50 AI sessions a month — conversations where her replies are written live rather than drawn from the written bank. Practice against the built-in engine — the gym as it exists today — stays unlimited, forever. The cap exists so 400 lifetime accounts can't quietly bankrupt the service.
Two things about how it is counted, because a cap you can't see is just a surprise. It counts conversations, not messages. And a conversation that has already started never counts again, so hitting the limit can never cut you off in the middle of one — the next new chat waits, the one you're in does not.
400 spots, then it closes
Founding is capped at 400 buyers and closes at public launch, whichever comes first. The close date will be recorded publicly on this page. After that, Pro is $14.99/month or $59/year — founding never reopens.
How you get access after paying
After checkout, create your account at fumbleproof.com/app using the same email you paid with. Founding switches itself on — the payment and the account are matched on that address, so it works whether you make the account a minute later or a week later, and it does not depend on anyone being awake.
Use a different address and the two will not find each other. That is the one thing that can go wrong here, and support@fumbleproof.com fixes it in a reply. Your Stripe receipt is your proof either way.
Why US only right now
Tax rails — EU and UK checkout open when those VAT registrations are live. Nothing technically stops a non-US card at the moment, so this is on the honour system: if you buy from outside the US, I will refund you and hold your spot at this price until checkout opens in your region. Nobody loses money over my paperwork.
What you're actually buying
Software. The coach is software, the practice partners are simulations, and the app says so everywhere. No human coaching is included or implied — the only human in this is me, answering the support address.
Who this is for, and what it is not
18 and over. That is a condition of the account, not a formality, and it is asked before your first session.
Fumbleproof is practice software. It is not therapy, not counselling, and not advice about a specific person in your life. Nobody here is a professional and nothing here is a substitute for one. If dating is hurting you in a way practice will not fix, please talk to someone who is qualified.
The women are simulations. They are always labelled as simulations, none of them is modelled on a real, identifiable person, and the app will never write a message for you to send to someone real. That last one is a design rule, not a feature we might reconsider.
Things that end an account
Very short list, and none of it will surprise you: being under 18, using the service to build or train something that competes with it, attacking the infrastructure, or abusing the fair-use cap through automation rather than practice. If any of that happens the account closes and — if you are inside the 7 days — you get your money back anyway. We would rather refund someone than argue with them.
Your right to change your mind
The 7-day refund above is the whole policy and it is deliberately simpler and broader than the law requires. If you are in the EU or the UK, you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases; by starting to use the app immediately after paying, you are asking us to begin performance straight away, which normally ends that right. We do not rely on that. Inside 7 days you get your money back whether you have used the app or not, and you keep the right to ask us for anything the law gives you beyond that — support@fumbleproof.com and it gets honoured.
Checkout is US-only today, so this mostly does not arise yet. It is written down now because it will.
If these terms change
The date at the top of this page changes with them. What cannot change for someone who has already bought: the price you paid, the fact that access is for the life of the service, the 7-day refund on your purchase, and the fair-use cap not getting tighter than the number stated when you paid. Anything else may be revised, and if a revision is material you get an email — not a silent edit.
What we are responsible for, plainly
We will keep the service running and your data handled the way the privacy page describes. Software breaks sometimes; when it does, the fix is a refund inside the window or a repair outside it. What we cannot be responsible for is how a real conversation goes. This is a gym. Nobody guarantees you a date, and anyone who does is selling you something else.
Nothing here limits liability for anything Dutch law does not allow to be limited, including death, personal injury, or our own intent or gross negligence.
Which law, and where
Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, or your right to bring a case where you live.
